Together we areNelus

Laboratory schools and university schools across Europe have a rich and diverse tradition. For instance, as Normaalikoulu in Finland, Versuchsschulen in Germany, University Training Schools in the UK, Experimental Model Schools in Greece or Praxisschulen in Austria they play a vital role for their national education systems. Laboratory schools and university schools not only engage in teacher education, but also connect educational research and school practice as well as develop innovations inside and outside the classroom. Part of the Network of European Laboratory Schools and University Schools (NELUS) are currently schools and universities from nine countries.
